A theatrical dance piece inspired by the character Nana from the film Vivre Sa Vie, directed by Jean Luc Godard. This seven minute trio was originally created for The Scandelles production of Under the Mink, which premiered in The Hysteria Festival, 2004, at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. This piece captures Nana’s unique character, movement and gestures, while simultaneously exploring the stereotypes that many hold about sex workers.
