Originally created in 2005 for The Scandelles show Les Demimondes’. A psychedelic quartet, inspired by the depiction of prostitution in John Cassavattes film Faces. Senses shift dramatically from the characters dancing around in drunken laughter - to extreme anger and sobbing embarrassment. This film beautifully captures the sex workers struggle to constantly balance the shifting moods and attitudes of their clients. Through dynamic movement and the use of face and character, this dance reflects the extreme spectrum of emotions dealt with in this film .
