Jesse Dell received her BFA in Dance from York University in 2003. As a dancer/performer Jesse has worked with an array of choreographers and companies including, The Scandelles, Larchaud Dance Project, Meagan O’Shea, Tracey Norman, Parahumans, Holly Small and Samara L. Thompson.
As an independent choreographer Dell has created work for Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre, as well as various dance and music festivals and events including the fringe Festival of Independent Dance Artists, A Choreographers Ball, The International Dance Day, The Hysteria Festival and Nuit Blanche.
As a producer and creator Dell has successfully mounted several projects including Carnival Cabaret (2009), Ethereal Forest for Nuit Blanche (2008), and Fallen (2007). In 2004 Dell created Project Sugar, a theatrical contemporary dance collective that performs with The Scandelles in productions such as the highly acclaimed Under the Mink (2006) and the surrealist cabaret Who’s Your Dada? (2008).
Recently, Dell joined forces with Jordana Deveau to create JD dance. In October 2010 JD made their premiere with Ink to flesh, co-presented by The Young Centre for the Performing Arts.

The Human Gallery is...
A semi-annual performance installation event, presented by JD Dance and hosted by The Reservoir Lounge.
Doors open at 7:30.
Come in for dinner and experience the evening from your seat or grab a martini and wander the space.
From 8-9:30 this restaurant/lounge/live music venue is transformed into an interactive human gallery, featuring five different artists.

At 9:30 The Reservoir Lounge will transform back to its traditional function of bar/live music venue.
From 9:45 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. patrons can enjoy the sweet sounds of Canadian singer/songwriter Lindsay Barr, known for her soulful blues, funk, rock fusion.
