Jesse received her BFA in dance from York University in 2003. As a dancer/perfromer Jesse has worked wth an array of different choreographers and companies including, The Scandelles, The Larchuad Dance Project, Aleza Gratain, Sarah Johnson, Calla LeChance, Tracey Norman, Parahumans, Holly Small, and Samara L. Thompson. As an independent choreographer Dell has been creating dances for many different dance and music festivals and events, including the fringe Festival of Independent Artists, A Choreographer's Ball, International Dance Day, The Hysteria Festival and Nuit Blanche amoung others. Dell has also choreographed and danced for numerous music videos, including "My Heart" by Liz Wright.

In 2004 Jesse created Project Sugar, a theatrical contemporary dance company, with a focus on bridging the gap between dance and the general public. Project Sugar has always and continues to work very closely with The Scandelles, a theatrical, socio-political neo-burlesque theatre company. In 2006 Project Sugar and The Scandelles enjoyed a two week sold out run of The Scandelles production of 'Under the Mink', at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. In January of 2008 Project Sugar joined forces with The Sacndelles again in the highly acclaimed 'Who's Your Dada?', also at Buddies and Bad Times Theatre.
